Recreational & Lap Swimming

The Foothills pool provides a comfortable, safe, and friendly atmosphere for Members and their guests. The diving area and wading pool are always available, and at least one lane is devoted to recreational swimmers. The only exception is when we are running swim meets that require the entire use of the pool; the pool is closed to recreational swimming during these swim meets.

We are a private Member-owned club, not a public pool. You must be a Member, a guest of a Member, or participating in lessons or clinics to swim in our pool.

Private Swim Lessons

Foothills provides year-round private (one-on-one) swim lessons to both Members and Non-Members.

Foothills Tennis and Swimming Club offers private and semi-private swim lessons to member and non-member swimmers, ages 3 & up, of all levels and abilities. Each lesson is 30-minutes in duration. Semi-private lessons are only recommended if the swimmers are of similar swim ability/level and already have already learned the basics of swimming.

About swim lessons at Foothills: We believe that swimming is more than just water safety; it’s a part of a lifelong program for health, safety and enjoyment. The purpose of our swim program is to: provide outstanding instruction for all swimming abilities, teach safety and lifelong aquatic skills, create a fun yet challenging experience.

About our instructors: Most of our instructors come from a competitive swimming background. They are patient and knowledgeable about swimming and child development. Each instructor receives ongoing training and reviews to ensure the best swimming instruction possible. We have two categories of instructors. Regular Instructors teach children and adults how to swim, water safety, and basic strokes. Competitive Instructors are for those who need to improve their technique and stroke efficiency. Any instructor you choose, will be enthusiastic and provide quality instruction.
