Private Lessons

Private lessons from our pros are available year-round for all ages and levels. All of our instructors are patient and knowledgeable about tennis for both adult and youth development. Each instructor receives ongoing training and reviews to ensure the best tennis instruction possible.

Private tennis lessons are available for ages 5 through adult and run year-round but depend on instructor availability. Lessons are scheduled on a day-to-day basis; you may register for as many lessons as frequently as you’d like. Lessons are private, 30 or 60-minutes in duration. If interested in semi-privates, please bring players that are close to the same ability and book your lessons together.

How to schedule: To book a private lesson with any of our instructors, please first fill out our Non-Member Involvement Form and then you  may book a lessons with one of our instructors by contacting them directly. If you have questions prior please feel free to reach out to any of our pros.

Cancellations by management due to a facility related circumstance, such as court maintenance, or severe weather (rain), will be rescheduled or credited to your account. Instructor cancellations: if for some reason the instructor must cancel a lesson, they will notify you and make-ups will be provided.


Meet Our Instructors

Mariano Parris, USPTA® Director of Tennis

Mariano was born and raised in Argentina. As a junior, he trained and competed with well-known top-ranking Argentinian players. In Argentina, his top junior ranking was 16th, and his highest professional ranking was 41st. He played pro tournaments and competed against several ATP ranked players, with some wins! His coaching career started at the Vilas Racket Club in Buenos Aires. Mariano also taught at the John Newcombe Tennis Ranch in Texas. He developed and coached several top junior players who would soon move on to become Division 1 collegiate players. Mariano has been a tennis pro at country clubs that provide USTA teams and leagues and teaches all ages and levels. He was the tennis director at one of the top 5 largest clubs in the US, The Crandon Park Tennis Center in Florida. Mariano's passion for serving our member-run, family-oriented club is evident. Mariano's ultimate goal was to become a world-class tennis coach from early on.

Artem is a 31-year-old former professional tennis player  who is an ambitious tennis coach working with players of all levels. Artem achieved his masters degree in physical education and sport. Artem joins our team with 3 years of experience working with kids at CSKA, the famous Russian Tennis club in Moscow and is hoping to help expand our Jr. Tennis Fireballs Program. During his playing career Artem has worked with professional tennis players ranked in the top 100 in the world at the Russian Tennis Federation  and recently had coaching experience at Gorin Tennis Academy in California, specializing in creating winning strategies and enhancing players' strengths

Certified at the USPTA® Professional level for more than 25 years, Bill Johnston brings significant experience to the tennis court. He served for six years at Foothills Tennis & Swim Club as associate instructor for the Advanced Fireballs summer clinic, and instructed under Dick Gould at the Stanford Nike Adult Tennis Camp for five years. He has over 35 years of experience as a USTA Referee and in tournament administration. Bill graduated from San Diego State University with a BA in Kinesiology and Mathematics, as well as a M-Ed/Teaching Credential, with additional graduate work in Sports Medicine.
